The process
The process
Clear Acrylic sheet is an ideal material for a variety of applications and has qualities that make it an excellent replacement for glass.
Some of the benefits are:
• You can choose any background. Ideal for your interior, as it will repeat the color of your wall in the room;
• Shatter-resistant;
• Safer and stronger than glass;
• Transparent optically clearer than glass;
• Supplied with protective film on both sides;
• Easy to clean and maintain;
• Will not yellow in the sun;
• Half the weight of glass – easy to handle.
The image is first carved out of a linoleum block, then individually hand-pressed using quality color oil on plexiglass.
As I individually print all my items, there are very small variations of the print. But that is what makes them all original and individual! This original linocut print (NOT a digitally reproduced print).
